For over 15 years, The Outaouais Film Festival (OFF) has been established in the Canada’s Capital, where 2 provinces share the same river, where English and French speaking people are daily working together and share culture and economy.
During 7 days, the OFF presents a selection of 100 feature films screened in more than 10 sites across Ottawa (Ontario) and Gatineau (Québec).
The Ottawa International Short Film Festival (OISFF) has partnered with the OFF to present a competitive program where short films will have a chance to precede each feature movies screened by the OFF. The best short movies selected by a jury will be screened all together at the OISFF Night.
With over 25,000 people visiting the festival yearly, the OISFF is the perfect platform for producers and moviemakers to show off their masterpieces to movie fans.
Because the short film is a distinct and important art form, the Ottawa International Short Film Festival (OISFF) seeks to encourage, promote and recognize original and creative short films, and present them to viewers at our festival. The OISFF is offering an opportunity for moviemakers to be recognized locally, nationally and internationally.
